The department of internal medicine of St. Luke’s Hospital Asaba is a Multi-dimensional department consisting of several units of different specialties. The department is focused on treatments of adults adopting SOP’s with modalities of auditing the procedures to ensure compliance and improvements both in process and results (patients health).

 

The department adopts best practice to manage patients with multi-system diseases, either chronic or short-term care. The department have highly trained professional, consultants, medical officers and support staff.

 

The internal medicine department is also set up and accredited for training of residents doctors in the area of Family medicine.

 

The department offer services ranging from emergency, inpatients, ICU, theatres, private wards, general wards, outpatients ( cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Nephrology, Geriatrics, and training. The department also have clinic days for different specialties.
